Privacy Policy
Here is how this site uses analytics and cookies.
What our analytics records
To learn which songs and pages people visit and how often, this site uses Google Analytics 4, an analytics service provided by Google. It records the pages you open, your approximate region, your device and browser type, and how you move around the site. This information is collected with Google Analytics cookies and handled by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy. If you visit from the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a notice appears at the bottom of the screen when you first open this site. Besides Allow all and Decline all, the notice lets you use Choose items to decide on Visit measurement and Google signals separately. In those regions, these cookies are not used until you choose, or if you do not allow visit measurement. You can change your choice at any time with Change cookie settings at the very bottom of each page.
How Google uses information from sites that use its services
What Google signals summarizes
This site carries no ads, but it does use Google signals, an advertising feature of Google Analytics. When someone who is signed in to a Google Account with ad personalization turned on visits the site, Google combines the Google Analytics cookie (a first-party cookie) with Google’s advertising cookies (third-party cookies) and similar identifiers. This lets it summarize trends in age, gender, and interests, and how people browse across devices such as computers and phones. All this site can see are those summarized figures. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your visits are included in these summaries only if you also allow Google signals in the notice.
If you want to stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits
Turning off ad personalization in your Google ad settings removes your visits from Google signals. You can stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on in your browser; it applies to that browser. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
When a music player loads
The music players on song pages and elsewhere (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music) load from each service only after you choose the service you want to listen on. Once loaded, that service may use cookies under its own rules.
